Abstract
    The halacarid fauna on coral reefs in the North-East of the Mozambique Channel, off the Isles Glorieuse, Mayotte and Zelee-reef was investigated. 6 halacarid genera with 9 spp were found. Halacarus multispinus sp.nov., H. reticulatus sp.nov., H. membraneus sp.nov., Agauopsis punctatus sp.nov., Agaue sp., Arhodeoporus longirostris sp.nov., Copidognathus pontellus sp.nov., C. ornatus sp.nov., and Scaptognathus punctatus sp.nov. are described.
