Abstract
A culture method for three copepods from a brackish water pond in northern Belgium was established. The investigated species reproduced best on a diet of algae (Tetraselmis suecica and Phaeodactylum tricornutum) with addition of small amount of detritus from the habitat. Survival from nauplii to the adult stage varied between 60 and 90 %. A study of the influence of temperature showed that the duration of the naupliar stages of Tachidius discipes is relatively prolonged with increasing temperature.
