Abstract
    Terebra vappereani sp. nov. is described from French Polynesia and is compared with its closest relatives Terebra consobrino Deshayes, 1857, Terebro ligata Hinds, 1844, Terebra subulota Linnaeus, 1767 and Terebra achates Weaver, 1960.
