Abstract
    On September 15th, 2001, five Planes minutus (Linnaeus 1758) were found a1ive between goose barnac1es (Lepas anatifera), living on a synthetic substrate washed ashore on the beach of Bredene. Two of them were males, three were fema1es carrying eggs.They are width exceptionally large, their carapaxbreath measuring between 19 and 24 mm. One male could be held in an aquarium far two months. In the same period many large algae and same other objects with goose barnacles were stranded.
