Abstract
    Two new species of Leptoconchus, Leptoconchus vangoethemisp.n. and Leptococonchus cyphastreae sp.n., from Papua New Guinea are described. Particular attention is paid to the larval shell and the burrow shape in the host coral. The host coral specificity and the taxonomic value of the larval shell are briefly discussed.
