Compilatiedatabank van systematisch bosbodemonderzoek uitgevoerd aan INBO sinds 1996. Bevat bodemdata van verschillende meetnetten (surveys) zoals: bodemfauna meetnet (1996-2001), Bosinventarisatie Vlaams gewest (1997-1999), BodVar (2001), Natuurlijke verjonging Zonien (2001) en Hydro-plots (2002) more
Bodemdatabank bevat gegevens over strooisellaag en pedogenetische horizonten bekomen door boringen tot 1.2 m diepte. ForSite bevat statische en dynamische datamodules. De statische modules omvatten alle data inzake standplaatsgegevens, bodembeschrijving en chemische analyses. De dynamische modules zijn afgeleid van de statische datamodules en combineren data voor specifieke studies (bvb Carbon module voor onderzoek naar koolstof stocks). In de dynamische modules worden afgeleide en geschatte variabelen toegevoegd en externe gegevens gelinkt (bvb GIS data). De statische data modules zijn: SITES (standplaatsbeschrijving en survey informatie), SAMPLES (staalnamecodes en bodemarchief informatie), FFCHEM (Chemische data strooisellagen), MINCHEM (chemische data minerale bodem) , TEXTURE (bodemtextuurmodule), PFKSATBD (bodemfysische gegevens zoals bulk densiteit, pF, KSat), CEC (dataset cation exchange capacity en uitwisselbare cationen).
