Description
Historische referentie databank voor bosbodemprofielen beschreven tijdens de bodemkartering van België (periode 1949-1965). Het betreft een deelset van de AARDEWERK databank, gecorrigeerd en aangevuld met data en een GIS component door middel van een opdracht aan de UGent in 2000 (opdrachtgever was IBW - later INBO). De databank bevat beschrijvende bodemgegevens (bodemprofiel) en fysicochemische data voor elke pedogenetische horizont tot 1.5 m diepte. Het is de belangrijkste coherente databank die de toestand van bosbodems beschrijft van rond de jaren zestig en een onmisbare gegevensset om de temporele evolutie van bodemvariabelen sinds dan na te gaan. more
