Description
This dataset is a compilation of phytoplankton data from the HELCOM database and the IOW/ODIN database, updated with recent monitoring data of Sweden (S. Hajdu), Lithuania (I. Olenina), Poland (S. Gromisz) and Denmark (B.B.Madsen, H.Jespersen) for selected stations of the Baltic Proper. The aim was to analyse this 28-year long time series for trends in biomass of the most important algal groups
